At Flight Sim Academy, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy explains your rights and our process when it comes to refunds for our digital product.
Digital Product — Right to Cancel
Flight Sim Academy is a digital product delivered immediately upon purchase. Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a digital purchase within 14 days, unless you have already accessed the digital content and agreed to waive your right of cancellation at the point of purchase.
When you purchase Flight Sim Academy, you will be asked to confirm that you consent to immediate access to the digital content and acknowledge that this waives your statutory 14-day cancellation right once access is granted.
When We Will Issue a Refund
We will issue a full refund in the following circumstances:
- You have not yet accessed the product following purchase
- You experienced a technical failure that prevented access to the product and we were unable to resolve it within a reasonable timeframe
- The product was significantly not as described at the time of purchase
- A duplicate payment was made in error
When We Are Unable to Issue a Refund
We are generally unable to issue refunds in the following circumstances:
- You have accessed and used the product after purchase
- You changed your mind after accessing the content
- The product does not work with third-party add-ons not explicitly listed as supported
- Issues relating to your own hardware, internet connection, or simulator configuration
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email us at support@flightsimacademy.co.uk with:
- The email address used for your account
- Your order reference or the date of purchase
- The reason for your refund request
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds will be processed via Stripe back to your original payment method. Stripe's standard processing time of 5–10 business days may apply.
Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If you believe a product is faulty or not as described, you retain your full legal rights regardless of this policy.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Citizens Advice consumer helpline or seek resolution through your credit card provider.
